WHS Reunion Committee

The WHS Reunion Committee is a group of Woodlawn High School Alumni from the classes of 1958 through 1965, who are focused on continuing the friendships we established while attending Woodlawn, and we have maintained through the years since. We are a volunteer group with no official standing or formal organization other than our dedication to do everything we can to facilitate reunion style celebrations as often as feasible, and to seek to expand the participation to all Alumni if they so desire.The Original Woodlawn High School Grand Reunion was created for Woodlawn Alumni across classes from the 1950s and 1960s to gather in Panama City, Florida. Over 600 Alumni attended the first Grand Reunion. Jackie Conn Harbuck and her multi-class Grand Reunion Committee coordinated this event for several years and it was always well attended. The current WHS Reunion Committee grew out of a 50th Reunion held by the 1964 Class, after which we realized how much these events mean to the attendees, and how hard it is to organize and orchestrate gatherings such as these at a reasonable cost. In 2018 we held a multi-class event which was a great success. We planned a repeat in 2020 that was delayed until 2022 due to the pandemic and was also a great success.
A 2024 Grand Reunion, dedicated to the memory of Jackie Conn Harbuck as well as celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the 1964 Class Graduation is on the way. We would welcome your help in the planning and coordination of this event.
